Kennedy Titans football: 26-21 home win over San Lorenzo snaps the skid
The Kennedy (Fremont) Titans football team beat visiting San Lorenzo (the Grizzlies) 26-21 at home on October 16, 2026, per the MaxPreps box score, and moved to 3-4 on the season.
What the MaxPreps box score actually shows
The final score is all that is documented. MaxPreps posted a final-only box score for this game with no period-by-period breakdown, and no individual player statistics were published in any public source. The @titanup50 Instagram account ran class officer announcements, a school newspaper feature and a Fall Fest invite around the date — nothing resembling a game recap or a stat sheet — so the 26-21 line is the complete statistical picture.
What is confirmed from the MaxPreps game page and schedule:
- Kennedy (Fremont) hosted San Lorenzo (the Grizzlies) on October 16, 2026
- Final: 26-21, Kennedy win — San Lorenzo listed as the visitor
- Kennedy's record after the win: 3-4, on a one-game win streak
- Next: at Washington (Fremont), October 23, 7:00 PM
Coming off a 50-point setback
The week before, Kennedy traveled to Newark Memorial on October 9 and lost 0-50, per the MaxPreps schedule. Coming home a week later and holding a conference opponent to 21 while scoring 26 is the clearest possible answer to that result — the Titans went from a 50-point deficit to a 5-point margin in seven days, and the win is what resets the record at 3-4.
San Lorenzo's own schedule (MaxPreps) shows the Grizzlies also arriving in a rough spot, so this was one of those late-season games where two struggling teams traded points — but on this night, the Titans finished up 26-21 and took the win.
Four days to the Washington date
The next Kennedy game is on the road at Washington (Fremont), Thursday, October 23, at 7:00 PM, per the MaxPreps schedule — a four-day turnaround from the San Lorenzo win, and the first of the stretch that will decide where 3-4 lands at season's end.

For now, 3-4 with a W on the board — and one week of proof the 0-50 night was the low — is exactly what the Titans needed. The schedule says the next answer comes October 23.
