What the MaxPreps record shows
Per MaxPreps, Newark Memorial (3-3) defeated the visiting Kennedy Titans (2-4) 50-0 in a league contest in Newark on October 9, 2026. No quarter-by-quarter scoring or individual player statistics were posted for the game, so the story lives in the final line: Newark Memorial 50, Kennedy 0, a shutout in front of the home crowd.
The 50-0 result is the Cougars' largest margin of the season on the MaxPreps record and their cleanest defensive performance of the fall. Coming off a 14-20 loss at Redwood Christian on October 2, the 50-0 result is a full reset - the difference between a 14-point offense and a 50-point one in a single week, and the difference between allowing 20 and allowing nothing.
Next up: Mt. Eden in Hayward
Newark Memorial's next game on the MaxPreps schedule is a road trip to Hayward to face the Mt. Eden Monarchs on Friday, October 16, 2026. Kennedy, for its part, hosts the San Lorenzo Grizzlies the same night.
