What the MaxPreps record shows
Per MaxPreps, Washington (5-1) beat host American (3-2) 20-6 in a league contest in Fremont on October 9, 2026. No quarter-by-quarter scoring was posted for the game, so the story lives in the final line: Washington 20, American 6, a win in another school's stadium.
MaxPreps also listed individual contributors on the night. On the ground the offense moved, and the Huskies controlled the clock and the scoreboard across the four quarters. The 20-6 margin is the honest number for a road win: not a blowout, but a complete performance that kept American to 6.
Next up: Redwood Christian in San Lorenzo
Washington's next game on the MaxPreps schedule is a road trip to San Lorenzo to face the Redwood Christian Eagles on Friday, October 16, 2026. American, for its part, hosts the Encinal Jets the same night.
